Sensitive Conditioner: (250ml) Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Ceteareth-20, Behentrimonium Chloride, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Tocopheryl Acetate, Amodimethicone, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide.

Apply shampoo to wet hair, massage into scalp and work through to the ends. Repeat as necessary to deep cleanse the hair. Rinse well. Style as normal.

Important: Please note this product does not produce lots of lather (due to a reduction in chemicals that cause this effect) but still cleanses hair and scalp effectively.

After shampooing, massage a small amount of conditioner into hair and scalp, working through to the ends that are most prone to damage, so it distributes evenly. For ultimate nourishment, leave on for 1-3 minutes. Rinse well. Style as normal.

  • No. The Olsson haircare collection does not contain any parabens.

  • Yes. We can confirm that our collection does not contain either of these ingredients. Limonene and linalool are usually found in fragrances, which we exclude from our formulas. Learn more about this here.

  • No. The Olsson Scandinavia collection does not contain EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid).

  • Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) is created through a different process to that of sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). It uses a process called ethoxylation where ethylene oxide is added to change the makeup of the compound. This process means SLES is much more gentle and ideal for use on both hair and skin. It doesn’t strip the epidermis of any excess moisture, leaving it feeling soft, smooth and nourished.

  • The Olsson Scandinavia range uses SLES in quantities within the safe ranges established by scientific and regulatory agencies. Additionally, our shampoo and conditioner are recommended by Allergy UK and Asthma Allergy Nordic.

    Contact allergy to sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) has been reported, but it is rare.

  • Yes! The entire Olsson Scandinavia Collection is gluten-free. Yay!

  • Yes, with one exception. The styling wax is not considered vegan friendly due to the inclusion of beeswax.

  • The origin of SLES is Coconut/Palm Kernel Oil. Olsson Shampoo is (approximately) 12.6% of SLES.

  • No. There is no Potassium Dichromate present in our formula.

  • Yes. The Nourishing Hair Mask includes Coconut Oil. Both the Shampoo Normal/Dry and Volume include Sodium Cocoamphoacetate; this is a chemical compound derived from the fatty acids of coconut oil.

  • No. None of these are included in the mousse formula.

  • Please be aware that our formula remains the same formula loved by you, Allergy UK and Asthma Allergy Nordic. The packaging has been improved to eradicate the collection of water in the lid.

  • Salicylates and their derivatives are found in medicinal products (for example Aspirin), in food, but also in cosmetics. They are not intentionally added to Olsson Scandinavia products.

    We do not test for the presence of salicylates; so we cannot determine if they are present or not. That said, if salicylates occur naturally in Aloe Vera, then it is likely that they will also be present in the product.

Soft, shiny, bouncy hair

I cut all fragrance from my skincare when I got perioral dermatitis and decided to also source fragrance-free hair care. What a result this duo is - my hair is so soft and bouncy, I can go longer between washes and my hairdresser has just commented on how shiny my hair is. I’ve tried various alcohol-free options before, knowing that benzyl alcohol irritates my scalp, but this was the first fragrance-free one and it’s a game-changer!

I use the shampoo and conditioner daily, it's itch free and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. I also use the hair wax daily and occasionally the Hair Spray. No itchiness compared to the products I get from the barbers. Really pleased with my results. I recommend it.
